Time to reflect
Posted by Stephen Baker on 1st January 2008
It has come to our attention that DTZ were appointed only to make a ‘Technical Appraisal’ of the four schemes presented to the council and were not asked for a specific recommendation. Their appraisal was based on a points system, apparently.
With this in mind, and on further reflection, we have decided to take time out to reflect on how and why the council chose to appoint Orion - “without any dissent” - as the chosen developer of the historic Butter Market site and rejected our proposal.
We would like to thank you all for your support over the last few months and we wish you all a happy and successful New Year.
