We Have Moved
The Butter Market blog on this site will no longer updated. The battle to develop the Chichester Butter Market as a local toll market serving the local community has been lost and there’s really no longer any point in repeating the arguments. So, it’s time to move on.
Our new on-line version of the Butter Market is getting closer and closer to launch. As we bring more and more growers, breeders, artists, and local retailers on board, you can take a tour of the new site by visiting the holding pages at atmarket.co.uk.
We’re even running a competition where you can help us give the bird in our logo a name. You can reach the competition from the home page or go straight there.
Thanks for your support on this site over the past year. We hope to hear from you over at the new blog, too.

If you felt there was merit in the integrity and philosophy of your proposal, then now may not be a bad time to ‘rattle the cage’- but not either of you. A name maybe. There is clearly concern about the performance of the front runner. Regards Andrew.

28th July 2009 at 4:08 pmHi
I hope you are well.
i just wanted to see if this may be of interest for your website.
Sainsbury’s have launched a new campaign, Eat Britain, aimed at educating Brits of the culinary delicacies on our doorstep. they work with over 17,000 British farmers and suppliers.
Last week Judith Chalmers visited a fresh food supplier. she was accompanied by the Try Team who cooked up some great dishes.
Would this be something of interest to you? i can provide you with further details.
Many thanks,
Leena
